Accessibility Statement
This statement was last updated on 4 September 2026
We at Spec + Source are working to make our site www.specandsource.co.uk accessible to people with disabilities.
Our commitment
Spec + Source wants its website, digital products and services to be usable by as many people as reasonably possible, including disabled people and people who use assistive technologies. We are working towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as a practical benchmark.
What we aim to support
As the website develops, we aim to:
-
Use clear headings, labels, link wording and page structure.
-
Provide meaningful alternative text for informative images.
-
Maintain readable colour contrast and text sizing.
-
Support keyboard navigation and visible keyboard focus where the platform permits.
-
Avoid relying on colour alone to communicate essential information.
-
Use plain language where possible and make forms understandable.
-
Offer reasonable alternative formats or assistance when practicable.
Current limitations
This is a newly launched website and has not yet undergone a full independent accessibility audit. Some third-party components supplied by Wix, payment providers, Canva or embedded services may not be fully controlled by Spec + Source. Some downloadable PDFs or visual packaging diagrams may have limitations for screen-reader or reflow use.
We are reviewing these areas and will prioritise issues that prevent people from accessing information, contacting us or completing a purchase. If a digital resource is difficult to use, please ask about a reasonable alternative format or assisted route.
Feedback and assistance
If you experience an accessibility barrier, need information in another format, or need help purchasing or using a resource, email hello@specandsource.co.uk. Please tell us the page or product involved, the difficulty encountered and, if you wish, the assistive technology or format that would help.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility enquiries within five working days and will explain what we can do and the expected timescale. Complex changes may take longer, but we will keep you informed.
Ongoing review
We will review this statement as the website and product library develop, after material design or platform changes, and when accessibility feedback identifies an issue.
